A 5-Week Series (10 Classes)

Yoga Fundamentals is a 5-week series meeting twice a week at the Tarpon Springs Community Center.



Learn Proper Alignment & Much More!

You will learn proper alignment for your body type and your fitness level. You will learn how to modify poses to get the most out of your practice without injuring yourself.

Not Just For Beginners

This class is NOT just for beginners. Yes beginners are encouraged to register for this class. You will learn many of the common poses taught in group classes and feel confident moving in and out of the postures.

Many of us began our yoga journey without taking a fundamentals class, without this knowledge you more than likely are moving in and out of postures incorrectly which can lead to injury. You may also be holding poses incorrectly for your body type risking injury and not getting the most benefit from the pose or the practice.


You MUST Pre-Register For This Series

A maximum of eight students will be in the class in order to give personalize attention. Each class will build from the prior class. By the end of the series you will have the confidence to attend group yoga classes at a studio or gym. You will have built a solid yoga practice and will have valuable tools and resources to continue growing and challenging yourself.

Begins Tuesday, January 14 in Tarpon Springs

The series begins January 14, 2020. Classes are held at the Tarpon Springs Community Center every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 – 12:30. During each lesson you will learn about the eight limbs of yoga, how to incorporate these techniques and principles both on and off the mat. Each lesson you will focus on 3 – 5 poses, learn how to go in and out of the pose properly and how to hold the posture in perfect alignment for your body type and fitness level.
