Escape for a 3 day/2 night spring retreat in Florida’s Starkey Wilderness Park.
Here you will enjoy the quiet, natural beauty amongst the hundred year old trees and bountiful wildlife in this 8,000 acre forest… all while practicing yoga, qigong, meditation and breath techniques.
Cabins in the wilderness will be your shelter while you relax and recharge. Activities during the day and evening are designed to awaken your innate wisdom and help you to discover your Divine power.
Your retreat begins at 2p on Friday, April 12th. There will be an opening ceremony, followed by a 1 1/2 mile hike stopping periodically to take in the surroundings and practicing yoga.
During the 3 days there will be plenty of time to reflect, rest and relax. Both Friday and Saturday evening include a yoga nidra practice to calm the body and mind followed by sacred silence from 9:30p – 11a.
The retreat’s group activities will conclude on Sunday around noon with the afternoon free to hike, enjoy the park, reflect and forest bathe before leaving.
Meals are included and will be vegan-friendly as well as offering gluten-free choices. Seasonal fresh fruits, vegetables and salads will be the staple for the retreat.
If you cannot stay overnight, you also have the option of attending Saturday (breakfast and lunch are included).

Cindy Bartz is a certified yoga and tai chi/qigong instructor, as well as a self-published author. She established the Ageless Beauty community with the mission to empower women to take control of their health and well-being using a natural, holistic approach.
Guest Teachers
Brigid Murphy is a certified yoga teacher and certified in Divine Sleep™ Yoga Nidra, a style of guided meditation that allows for a transformative, healing experience of deep rest and rejuvenation on every layer of our multi-dimensional self.
Her goal is to share the amazing self-care practice that is yoga and meditation in accessible and supportive ways to all yogis, beginner and experienced alike, helping bring more balance into their lives.
Brooks West, Attorney By Day – Meditation Teacher By Night! Brooks is the founder of West Law Firm helping people injured by negligence.
Brooks knows first hand the importance of meditation in one’s daily life. He spends much of his time meditating and studying the early Buddhist texts. Brooks has meditated daily for the past 9 years and attended many 10 day silent meditation retreats.
His personal mission is to help make the early Buddhist teachings as accessible as possible because he knows firsthand how helpful they can be.
Brooks will be joining us Sunday morning giving a Darshan (Spiritual Talk) and conducting a meditation for the group.
