This is my FAVORITE Thanksgiving recipe, SO EASY to make AND way healthier for than the “marshmellow” version!
Sweet Potatoes With Honey And Cinnamon
4 Medium Size Sweet Potatoes
2 TBSP Coconut Oil
1 TBSP Butter
3 TBSP Unfiltered Honey
2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tsp Salt
Preheat the oven to 350. Peel the potatoes, cut in 3-4 inch chucks and place in a medium size bowl, cover with cold water and salt.
In a 9 x 9 pan, take 1 TBSP coconut oil and coat the pan. In a small dish take the rest of the coconut oil, butter, honey and cinnamon and microwave for about 20 seconds or until the oil and butter are melted. Blend the ingredients together.
Take the potatoes out of the cold water, place in the 9 x 9 pan and pour the honey mixture over the top of the potatoes. Cover the pan and bake for 40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. YUM – ENJOY!
