GARLIC SHRIMP
In a previous post I shared my Ginger & Turmeric Rice, in this post I’ll share this super easy recipe for Garlic Shrimp. I serve the Garlic Shrimp with steamed asparagus on top of the rice… it is so delicious and nutritious.
4 TBSP Olive Oil
2 Cloves Garlic, Chopped
1 tsp Hymalyan Salt
1 Lb Shelled, Devained Shrimp
1 Lb Asparagus
Place the first 3 ingredients in a ziplock bag, wash shrimp, pat dry and then add to the garlic olive oil. Place in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours to marinate.
I use a steamer for this recipe, I start my Ginger & Turmeric Rice, the rice will take about 45 minutes to cook. While the rice is cooking, clean the asparagus and cut in 5-6 in lengths. In the steamer basket place the asparagus, then top with the shrimp. After the rice has cooked 35 minutes add the steamer basket and cook an additional 10-15 minutes.
Serve immediately, ENJOY!!
